INDIAN FOOT MASSAGE

September 14, 2015
INDIAN FOOT MASSAGE ALSO KNOWN AS Kansa Vatki Foot Massage (TM) has been part of the Ayurvedic tradition for centuries to rebalance tri-doshas. The treatment involves the feet and lower legs with particular emphasis on marma points (Indian acupressure)-areas which create energy channels to various internal organs and doshas in the body and also involves techniques to draw out excess heat leaving the entire body cool, refreshed and relaxed. This soothing session balances and relaxes body, mind, spirit, helps to detoxify, to improve circulation and reduce edema, to increase strength and stamina of lower limbs, to bring relief from eyestrain, to promote sound sleep, to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, to rebalance the body's natural energy flow (Prana).

This balancing treatment also blends well with Indian Head Massage. To receive treatments view our Certified Therapists Page and find a therapist near you. If you would like to book with Lee-ann please use the Contact Us page to set up an appointment.

For some, in fact, for a good many people, it is a great relief to learn they won't have to change or be undressed during a treatment. Modesty is still close to the heart for some!.
